Choice of High-Powered Engines

When it comes to the Land Rover Discovery performance, the vehicle is no slouch at all, as it comes equipped with a choice of capable engines, including a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that’s good for 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Need even more oomph? There’s a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that generates a whopping 355 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. This engine can be equipped with an optional mild hybrid system with a 48-volt generator.

Both powertrains connect to a standard 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. When outfitted with the turbocharged four-cylinder, the Discovery delivers an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. Discovery models with the hybridized six-cylinder powertrain return 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

When appropriately equipped, the 2022 Discovery can tow up to 8200 pounds.

Upscale Interior

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery interior is defined by an upscale interior lay out and exceptional comfort. The contemporary cabin is equipped with an impressive array of features, including standard features like leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless ignition, power-adjustable front seats, power-reclining second-row seats, and dual sunroofs.

The Discovery is also available with optional amenities such as ventilated second-row rear seats and a massage function.

Regarding cargo volume, the three-row SUV has 9.1 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 45 cubes behind the second row of seats, and 74.3 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down.

Modern, User-Friendly Infotainment System

The 2022 Discovery is equipped as standard with Land Rover’s Pivi Pro infotainment system, which is straightforward and easy to use. It features an 11.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, navigation, HD radio, satellite radio, USB ports, and an eight-speaker sound system. Optional technologies include a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless device charging, and a 12- or 14-speaker Meridian sound system.

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery has a bevy of standard driver assistance systems to keep occupants safe.
